Background of ME1C2/LILFOC FOUNDATION, INC:

In light of the horrific civil strife that engulfed Liberia for nearly a decade and the half, leaving behind high poverty rate, a staggering 85% illiteracy rate, characterized by high unemployment, thus making Liberian children to live underprivileged life in both social and economic sectors, some Liberian individuals who are passionate in the development of children and the betterment of Liberia, established the MOVEMENT FOR EDUCATION FIRST, COUNTRY SECOND/LIBERIA INITIATIVE FOR LESS FORTUNATE CHILDREN, (ME1C2/LILFOC FOUNDATION, INC.)

Our Mission: We aim to advocate quality basic educational and social economic welfare for disadvantaged children of Liberia. We focus on the most disadvantaged children through a range of innovative programs and initiatives in education.
